We have an exciting breaking news for all Vijay fans. As we had informed you earlier, Vijay would be teaming up with AR Murugadoss after Vijay 61.

Now the latest we hear is that Sonakshi Sinha is most likely to play the female in this film to be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Our sources close to the team have confirmed the news, but we still are waiting for an official confirmation from the team.

This would be Sonakshi’s second Tamil film after Lingaa. It must be noted that she has earlier worked with AR Murugadoss in Bollywood films like Holiday and Akira.

One of the most trending first look photos in recent times has to be the first look poster of Ajith’s upcoming film Vivegam. Ajith’s six packs makeover is the sole reason for the overwhelming adulation that the poster has been receiving.

Though the actor has not made any statement yet, a section of media has been reporting that he will join politics soon. Media has also been saying that Rajinikanth’s dear friend Amitabh Bachchan has requested Rajinikanth not to enter politics at the moment.

Yesterday (5th February), we had reported that Jyothika would not be part of Vijay 61, directed by Atlee. There were many speculations going on about the new heroine.

Sources close to us now suggest that Nithya Menen is the finalized one. It is said that the OK Kanmani actress is most likely to join the sets very soon and start shoot for her portions. However, an official confirmation regarding this is awaited from the team.

Vijay 61 started rolling from February 1st in Chennai and is expected to release in the last quarter of 2017.

Irumbu Thirai directed by debutant Mithran PS stars Vishal and Samantha in the lead role. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the man in charge of the music department while Ruben handles the cuts and George C Williams takes care of the cinematography for this film produced by Vishal Film Factory.

Arya was initially supposed to play the lead antagonist of Irumbu Thirai, but the ‘Raja Rani’ actor backed out of the project due to undisclosed reasons.

Our sources close to the camp have now hinted that the makers are in talks to rope in ‘Action King’ Arjun to play Vishal’s baddie. It is interesting to recall that Vishal had once worked as Arjun’s assistant in a film titled Vedham (2001). Now, will Arjun turn villain for his 'sishyan' (student)?

And we got in touch with the film's producer Escape Artists P.Madan, who confirmed it with an 'yes'. Citing date issues, the Action Hero Biju girl had moved out and she has now been replaced by Ritu Varma, who has already acted in Peli Choopulu (Telugu) and Kalaiyarasan's China (Tamil). The team is currently shooting in Chennai, canning some of the important scenes from the film.

Dhruva Natchathiram, which has music by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by Jomon.T.John, is being planned to release in August 2017.

Piracy is something that the whole Tamil Film Industry is trying hard to eradicate. Suriya's Si3 had hit the screens yesterday (9th Feb), and with regard to the Trichy region, the film was released in theatres like Rambha and L.A.Cinemas.

In order to prevent the recording of the movie in theatres (piracy), under the supervision of Vishal, a team of four were sent to each and every theatre, where Si3 was screened. The team has allegedly caught eight people from Rambha theatre, Trichy, who were recording the film on their mobile phones. Their mobile phones are now confiscated, and the police officials are currently enquiring the case.

This move from Vishal on stopping piracy has got a good welcome among the industry insiders.
