IS TRISHA PART OF VIKRAM’S SAAMY 2?

Director Hari who is busy with the promotions of his Si3 starring Suriya is all set to direct Vikram in the sequel of the hit cop film Saamy. Saamy 2’s pre production work is in full swing and shoot is expected to start from May.

Chiyaan Vikram who is currently doing Dhruva Natchathiram with Gautham Menon is said to join the sets of Vijay Chander’s project by February 10th. Soon after that project, Saamy 2 by Hari is expected to roll. The film will be  funded by Shibu Thameens and they had released a poster with title design last evening which gave a nostalgic feel to many who loved the first part. The poster had 2 in the form of bullets from a gun and had a stylish grey tone to it.

Being the season of sequels, Saamy 2 is also expected to come in with a good buzz thanks to it’s hit prequel. However, the female lead has not yet been decided and it is said to be chosen to suit Vikram’s character Aarusaami, whose story continues after 16 years. Trisha who was a part of Saamy had a pivotal role to play. Also, the film had the two of them getting married.

Post the announcement of this project few weeks ago, many people asked the actress out of excitement whether she is going to pair up with Vikram again. However, whether Trisha will be a part of Saamy 2 or not has not yet been confirmed and an official word is expected soon.
