Nivas K Prasanna is truly impressive and I am going to be having sky-high expectations every-time he composes music form now on. This is one brilliant composition set in Saramathi raaga and reminded me of two songs 1) "Mari mari ninne" from 'Sindhubhairavi' for its raaga base and 2) "Kadhal kasakkuthayya" from the movie 'Aan pavam' for its uniqueness of rendering modern love advice in traditional carnatic style. Nivas himself sings the song, just like how Ilaiyaraaja sang "Kadhal Kasakkuthyya". The way the song starts gives nothing away about how its going to transform itself and that truly shows his versatility as a composer. The second hero of the song is Arrol Corelli's violin and he shows his class during the solo as well as background parts of the song. He is none other than the man responsible for some brilliant BGMs of Thupparivaalan, Pisasu and Savarakathi. DA Srinivas with his Mridangam is excellent as are Naveen Napier on the bass and Naveen Samson on the guitar. This is one epic song that will be remembered for very long.
