Reports say that many OTT platforms have offered a calculated price to the makers based on the estimated box office earnings for a direct digital release of the film. Reportedly, Director Kabir has confirmed that they have been offered a whopping sum and added, “83 is a film that has been envisioned and made to be experienced on the big screen and we are ready to wait for things to get normal and then release it in cinemas.“

Thus, 83 movie is expected to have theatrical release in languages Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. A Kabir Khan Films Production, the movie is produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment and 83 Film Ltd. 83 is directed by Kabir Khan.
