SURIYA BREAKS SILENCE ON JYOTHIKA'S TEMPLE SPEECH CONTROVERSY, RELEASES A PRESS STATEMENT!

He stated "This was a statement made by Jyothika long ago in an award function, is recently taken upon as a topic of discussion in debates and news in media is disheartening."

He added, "Similar ideology were supported by spiritual leaders like Swami Vivekananda, that if you help your fellow human being, it is equal to paying homage to gods. People who don't take such things in a positive way cannot understand the real intention of Jyothika’s statement."

"Every religion welcomes the fact that schools and hospitals need to be considered as a place where God resides."

He concluded the statement, "We preach Humanity's importance to our kids. Even when people spread false rumours or insult them, kindhearted samaritans, fans and well-wishers have stood by us. Thanks to all of them."
