The creator of numerous immensely popular superheroes, the Marvel comics legend Stan Lee passed away on Monday (November 12), aged 95.
Stan Lee was best known for co-creating the Marvel Universe along with a few collaborators. The characters he created include Spiderman, the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, Black Panther, X-Men, and various others.
He was also often spotted making cheeky cameo appearances in the Marvel movies. He is reported to have been declared dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Stan had begun Marvel in 1961 along with Jack Kirby and they started off with The Fantastic Four. While the entire world mourns his passing, Behindwoods offers its heartfelt condolences to his daughter Joan Celia.
