Disturbing Video: Man beats wife for 3 hours before 2-year-old son for not speaking language properly

Domestic violence and abuse for taking control over and dominate somebody is pretty commonly seen all around the world, sadly.

A disturbing video of a husband thrashing his wife has gone viral on social media. Police have arrested a 36-year-old South Korean man on July 6, after he was caught on video brutally assaulting his 30-year-old Vietnamese wife, reports India Times.

The man Kim was arrested without a warrant and put into detention since police was concerned that he would hit his wife again, reported The Hankyoreh.

Reportedly, he beat his wife for over 3 hours straight on July 4th night at their home in Yeongam, South Jeolla province, South Korea.

The woman managed to record a video of the abuse with her mobile phone that she placed on the living room table. On July 5, she sent the video to her acquaintances who filed an FIR against the man and posted the video on social media.

The man’s beating resulted in leaving the victim with rib fractures and other injuries that will require at least four weeks of treatment, reported The Korea Herald.

What is worse than the assault is the reason he assaulted her. The Vietnamese woman could not speak Korean well enough, so he thrashed her in front off their 2-year-old son who was seen crying non-stop. He hugged his mother as soon as his father stopped thrashing her.

The victim and her child were taken from their home and were sent to local women’s shelter for their protection, said Yeongam Police Station. The Women Human Rights Centre of Korea said that it was offering assistance to the woman who was a migrant.
