Video: Unable To Control Speed Bull Falls Into Well, Dies During Jallikattu Celebrations

In a sad and shocking case, a big and strong bull fell into a well and died during Jallikattu Celebrations in Vaniyambadi area of Vellore, Tamil Nadu on January 20. 

The animal was part of the bull-racing event, that took place during Manjuvirattu. The bull had also won the race but sadly, it could not control its speed and fell into the well. Manjuvirattu is a famous event where bulls are made to run on the streets while locals try to chase them. 

According to Times Now report, the villagers struggled for an hour to rescue the bull but failed at every attempt. Sadly, they could not save the animal. The bull that was stuck in the well for more than an hour, died inside the well as the locals could not pull him out on time. 

This is not the first time such an incident has happened, there have been several instances where human and animal lost their life during such events. Watch the video below:
