Under lockdown, with various containment zones, Chennai’s cases continue to increase in number. 309 from across the city have been recorded as of May 15, 06:00 pm.

Totally 5946 cases have been reported in Chennai and 4801 people are currently hospitalized for treatment. 48 deceased persons are from Madhavaram (1), Tondiarpet (5), Royapuram (13), Thiru- Vi-Ka Nagar (7), Anna Nagar (8), Teynampet (5), Kodambakkam (4), Valsarvakkam (2) and Adyar (3).
