World's largest cricket stadium under construction in India

India has a whopping 52 international cricket venues and England which comes second has just 23. Adding another feather to the cap, India is to get the world's largest cricket stadium in Motera. Reportedly, construction has been taking place by the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) since January 2017.
The stadium is expected to cost Rs 700 crore and when it gets ready, it will be able to host 1.10 lakh fans. It will be overtaking the currently largest stadium - Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia. The ground is spread over approximately 63 acres.
