Watch Video: Dhoni Walks Away In Tears After Being Run-Out; Breaks Millions Of Hearts
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIt was not just a big match but an emotional one too as team India was crashed out of the CWC 2019 after losing against New Zealand by 18 runs. As Virat Kohli and men chased the total of 239 runs, the top order made way into the pavilion quite early in the game as the scoreboard read 6/3.
It was only because of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni, the country revived the hopes of India’s victory but in the end, both could not survive as Jadeja got out on 77 and the former Indian captain got run-out on 50.
Millions of heart broke after, Dhoni left the field; he was also seen crying as he walked back to the pavilion.
According to Times Now report, Dhoni himself hasn't revealed if he is planning to retire after the World Cup or not, his act of sporting the stickers of different bat manufacturers alternatively suggest that the Indian cricket stalwart is looking to thank those who helped him come this far in his career. While an official word regarding his retirement might just around the corner, fans would be gutted to see him leave on a sorry note.
WHAT A MOMENT OF BRILLIANCE!
