Teenager commits suicide after being stopped from playing PUBG
Home > News Shots > India newsA 17-year-old boy from Haryana allegedly committed suicide after his mother scolded him and took his phone away for playing PUBG Mobile game, reports TOI.
Reportedly, the boy had dropped out of school after finishing class 10, a year ago. His family said that he would spend most of his time playing PUBG on his mobile phone.
The deceased's father is a policeman and he said that he and his wife often scolded the boy for playing in mobile and for dropping out of school.
He said "I was on duty on Saturday evening when my wife found him playing PUBG in his room and snatched his mobile phone. She found him hanging in the room the next morning." Reportedly no complaints were made, but the investigation is on, said police to TOI.
