After Poisoning Family, Techie Commits Suicide!

A techie from Madhya Pradesh has poisoned his family and himself after losing his job. The police are going through his bank account details, e-mails and other contents on his laptop to ascertain the reason for his decision.

The techie identified as Abhishek Saxena (45), his wife Preeti Saxena (42) and their twin children were found dead in a resort in Khudel area. When the police reached the spot, their nails had already turned blue with froth in their mouths and there was evidence for online purchase of sodium nitrate.

Abhishek lost his job with a software company and was under stress since then. His wife was working with a multinational e-commerce company but her salary was not sufficient for their living.

"Though we are waiting for the post-mortem report, the circumstantial evidence suggests that the couple killed their children before they killed themselves. There is also a possibility that Abhishek first killed his wife and children by giving them a certain dose of the chemical and then he killed himself.”

“We have retrieved the information from the engineer's laptop regarding the order given for the purchase of sodium nitrate," an investigation officer was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
