Own a Car, but without Buying It; Anand Mahindra's Super Offer for Middle class Car Buyers!
Home > News Shots > Business newsIndia's leading utility vehicle manufacturer, Mahindra and Mahindra has come up with a subscription-based passenger car ownership model in partnership with Revv, a car-sharing startup.
According to reports from Mint, the subscription model will be available on selected cars for a period of one to four years. Customers will have to pay a refundable deposit and one month's charge as advance.
The plan includes zero down payment, no road tax, insurance, no risk of resale value and no maintenance as the monthly fixed amount includes all these costs.
“The subscription model offers flexibility as no checking of the customer’s cibil score is required. Although the minimum duration is one year, the subscription plan can let young professionals change or upgrade the cars they want. They get access to driving a brand new car under our subscription-based model," Veejay Ram Nakra, chief of sales and marketing, automotive division, M&M Ltd was quoted as saying by Mint.
The cars that come under the plan include XUV300, Scorpio, XUV500, Marazzo and Alturas G4. The plan will be available in 8 cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore under the first phase. 11 more cities are expected to get added to the list in the second phase.
