Simmons has played an extensive IPL cricket for three years in Mumbai Indians (MI) franchise. Though he moved out of MI in 2017, he was available for Rs 1.50 Crore in the 2018 IPL auction and Rs 75 Lakh in 2019 auction.

Unfortunately, he remained unsold in both the previous auctions. Simmons present T20 stats in CPL (Caribbean Premier League) prove to be pretty impressive on charts. He is the second leading CPL 2019 run-scorer with 430 runs in 11 innings. Simmons IPL career shows 1079 runs in 29 matches.
