Evare
Music: Rajesh Murugeshan
Singer: Vijay Yesudas
Lyrics: Shreemani
This brilliant song has already been released as a single and the Telugu version has beautiful lyrics from Shreemani. The lilting piano, mild treble, and chord progression take the listener to a new world altogether. The song is an exact rehash of the original and lyrically gets complete justice. A special mention should be made for Vijay Yesudas’s flawless Telugu diction as well.
Agarottula
Music: Rajesh Murugeshan
Singer: Naresh Iyer
Lyrics: Purna Chary
A peppy number with feel good electric guitar leads to the fun filled vocals by Naresh Iyer arrives in style. The Telugu version again scores well with the localized lyrics of Purna Chary which retains the nativity quite well. The interludes are entertaining and at the same time unleashes the fun aspect of the album.
Ninna Leni
Music: Rajesh Murugeshan
Singer: Karthik
Lyrics: Krishna Madineni
Time for another laid back number with casual whistle tune and an interesting conversation between violin and acoustic guitar. Karthik does a commendable job for this brilliant number and supported well by Krishna Madineni. The riveting rhythms section and mildly Jazzy interludes are quite impressive as well.
Prema Pusene.
Music: Rajesh Murugeshan
Singer: Karthik
Lyrics: Purna Chary
Another modern jazz style number arrives in great poise next. Out of every aspect of the song, it is the bass work which scores quite well with its tantalizing nature. The lazy guitars, piano touches, and lilting rhythm make it a unique experiment for a soup song.
Bang Bang
Music: Gopi Sunder
Singer: Haricharan
Lyrics: Ramajogayya Sastry
The album gathers pace with a trance-like melody sung by Haricharan which also has the Hip-Hop aspect to it in terms of rhythm. The presentation follows the Reggae format in a convincing manner with a contemporary approach. The song would appeal much to the younger audience for its upbeat presentation. Watch out for the quirky duel between flute and saxophone in the first interlude! Ramajogayya Sastry’s lyrics are quite good for an experimental track of this track.
Ennosarlu
Music: Gopi Sunder
Singer: Sachin Warrier
Lyrics: Vanamali
The trance mode extends further with another contemporary number high on bass work and energy levels. Sachin Warrier delivers par excellence with his soft vocals for this otherwise fast-paced composition. Vanamali’s lyrics are fair which follow a conversational pattern.
Evadu Evadu
Music: Gopi Sunder
Singer: Ranjith
Lyrics: Shreemani
The album gets a mass touch with the infamous rehash of the original dance tune from the Malayalam version. However, this version is faster in pace and adds more layers of digital loops. Shreemani’s lyrics are funky and stay true to the mass impact. Ranjith delivers this song like a cake walk with his high voltage vocals.
