Vijaya Chamundeswari, daughter of legendary actress Savitri, made an emotional speech after watching the late actress' biopic Mahanati which released today.

"She (Keerthy) used to talk to me a lot during the shoot. She called me to know more about my mom's mannerism in detail, including her eating habits.  I had gone to the shooting spot twice and whenever she would walk to me after the shot, I would feel like mom was coming to me. Keerthy has the natural talent to enact my mom's behaviour. I had given her about 20 to 25 tips, out of which she has used about 12 mannerisms that come naturally to her.

Everyone has acted well. I am very happy about the movie, and I got emotional, as this is the first time my mom's true story has come out. In the past, there have been a lot of negative rumours but this movie is completely true."
