As reported earlier GV Prakash would be rendering his voice for the Telugu version of Mersal Arasan song as well. The Tamil version was an instant hit among Vijay fans. Now the Telugu version named Mersal Raja would be releasing soon.
GV Prakash who had recently sung the Telugu version at AR Rahman's Panchathan Studio, updated about Mersal Raja via Twitter, "Telugu version of #MersalArasan recorded yesterday at panchathan and done ... #MersalRaja coming soon 💥✨"

Yesterday, the Mersal team was spotted shooting some patch works at an IT park located near Thuraipakkam, Chennai. We were told that a Hospital scene was canned in yesterday's shoot.
Apparently, Vijay has completed his shoot and also dubbing work for the film. He is expected to take part in the 'poosanikai' ceremony which will take during the last day of the shoot.
Meanwhile, AR Rahman along with his Qutub-E-Kriba band has supposedly started work for Mersal's background score. The team is ostensibly thrilled to score the re-recording for a mass film like Mersal.
This news also comes in as a huge relief to Vijay and AR Rahman fans. AR Rahman as we know is extremely passionate with what he does and wouldn't like to compromise for the sake of a deadline. Now that Rahman has a solid 20-30 days time to work on the RR part, we could expect a fascinating final output from 'Isai Puyal'.
