2 minutes video of Baahubali 2 war sequence has been leaked online. It looks like the leaked video could have been in the edit table. We are told that the video is unprocessed without CG works. We are still not aware how this happened.
 

The Baahubali technical team was prompt enough to block all the leaked videos for the moment. This is a good sign but still such leaks should have been avoided for a big budget film like this. We hope the makers try to come up with ways to curb such leakages.

The most expected news is out. Yes, the makers of 2.0 have announced the release date of the movie with the first look poster featuring Akshay Kumar. The poster read 3DIWALI2017 which means that the film will also be released in 3D on the grand occasion of Diwali next year.


Diwali 2017 can't get better than this and a movie of this production scale definitely needs a perfect release window and the festival of lights is expected to give the much-needed opening to a Superstar film.

A few days ago, Gautham Menon had disclosed that he is in talks with Vikram for a film and they might collaborate very soon.
 

During an interaction with Behindwoods team, he made a breaking announcement that he had narrated a story to Vikram and the Iru Mugan actor has given a green signal to GVM.


"He is very keen, I am very keen. I wanted to work with Vikram ever since my first film. There have been so many interactions and discussions in the past. But somehow, I feel if it needs to happen, it will happen in the right time. I believe in that philosophy and I feel the time has come for me to work with Vikram. We have got an interesting idea and he has asked me to work on it. He told me that we can make an official announcement in 5 to 10 days. So that will be my next project." - Gautham Menon
 

Now it is almost official that GVM's next after Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta will be with Vikram. GVM also thanked Behindwoods Gold Medals as the award function helped him to bridge his relationship with Vikram. The talented duo missed working together earlier, but we hope they strike this time like lightning.

Actor Dileep and actress Kavya Madhavan got married in Kochi today, November 25, 2016. The celebrated on-screen pair finally decided to tie the knot. The ceremony was simple and included close friends and family only.
 

Dileep got separated from his 1st wife Manju Warrier in January 2015 and Kavya had got divorced in May 2011. Dileep was Kavya's first hero and the pair continued to have a number of big hits to their names. The latest film in which the pair appeared on-screen was for internationally acclaimed director Adoor Gopalakrishnan's "Pinneyum".

20th Century Fox revealed the release date of one of Hollywoods' most anticipated film, James Cameron’s Avatar 2. The makers have reported that this blockbuster sequel will storm the worldwide box office on the 21st December 2018 which is 2 years and 1 month from now.
 

The makers are planning for 4 Avatar sequels. While Avatar 2 will release in December 2018, Avatar 3,4 and 5 will release in 2020, 2022 and 2023 respectively.
 

It must be noted that James Cameron’s last film Avatar 1 which released in 2009 is still the highest grossing film of all times

Looks like it is wedding time in Vishal's household. Reports have been doing rounds since morning, claiming that the younger sister of Vishal, Aishwarya Krishna, who is currently taking care of Vishal Film Factory (VFF) is all set to tie the knot soon.


When we checked about this with reliable sources close to Vishal, this is what they had to say. "It is too early to comment on this. Plans are on, but nothing has been finalized. The family is searching for a perfect bridegroom."

We had earlier reported that the audio of Bairavaa is being planned to release in the first week of December. But now it looks there is a change of plan in the audio release date.


Sources inform us that the team is most likely to release the audio on the 12th of December. It is said that the team is planning for a big launch event, however, nothing has been official yet.
 

December 12th happens to be Superstar Rajinikanth's birthday and it would indeed be an exciting treat from Vijay and Santhosh Narayanan on Thalaivar's birthday. Bairavaa, directed by Bharathan, has lyrics by Vairamuthu.

We had reported yesterday (23rd Nov) that there are chances of Vishal's Kaththi Sandai being released for Pongal 2017 because the December month is already booked by many films.


Now, it has come true. This comic caper from Vishal - Vadivelu - Soori combo is all set to release for Pongal 2017, along with Vijay's Bairavaa. It should be noted that Vijay and Vishal have had two box office clashes earlier in the form of Pokkiri - Thamirabarani, and Kaththi - Poojai.
 

Kaththi Sandai, said to be a family entertainer, will be a perfect festive release for the families to enjoy and laugh out loud.

G.V.Prakash's Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, which has been receiving a mixed response, made Lakshmy Ramakrishnan tweet about the film.


Feeling bad that G.V. could have done a more intense role, she had tweeted, ''I can give a super role for @gvprakash one with substance! in my next...it will do you good & do some good for youth who follow you, ready?''.
 

In a few minutes time, G.V. surprisingly replied, ''sure u can narrate mam. If the script is good wldo. Imthe one who did kaakamuttai, paradesi , gangs of Wasseypur, aadukalam''.
 

This conversation went on further when Lakshmy asked him when she could narrate the script. G.V. replied to this by tweeting, ''will fix an appointment thru jagadish. He will call u tomm mam shall meet over around Wednesday or Thursday mam''.
 

After a brief discussion, they decided to have the narration on the 27th of November. Let us wait and watch to know if this project takes off.

Simbu's Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada has been performing well at the box office despite the demonetization issues. The film has apparently collected more than 20 crores in TamilNadu region in ten days. According to the Behindwoods Box Office wing, the film has collected around 4.5 crores at the end of the second week, which is a clear hit.


Simbu, who has tasted success with this film has tweeted, "Admin :Disastrous flop movies are mentioning as blockbusters, what would u call #AYM ?.. Better to say v are happy than mentioning verdict".


We often tend to see a film poster that would read 'Superhit', 'blockbuster', etc, but on the ground reality, the film's result might be different. Is Simbu referring to this practice?
