Post-mortem reports listed that 'accidental drowning' is the cause of Sridevi's death. It was added that traces of alcohol was found in her blood. 

The body was supposed to be brought to Mumbai by evening but was delayed due to police investigations held in Dubai. Boney Kapoor's statement was taken by the Dubai police, after which he was allowed to get back to his hotel room. 

Stars like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and many others arrive at Mumbai to visit Anil Kapoor's home to extend their support. The funeral which was planned to be held gets delayed due to procedural delays.
