Kaththi alias Kathiresan is probably the fans most favourite negative character done by Vijay till date. Kathiresan is a petty criminal who escapes from the Kolkata prison and when he tries to escape to Bangkok, he finds a doppelgänger (Jeevanantham). He then sends his look like to the jail and but eventually gets reformed and fights for people's cause.
