During the 2004 Multan Test, Sachin was batting on 194 and would have shortly gotten to a double hundred when he was shocked by stand-in skipper Rahul Dravid's decision to declare the Indian innings.
In his autobiography ‘Playing It My Way’, Tendulkar revealed how hurt he was at the declaration, how he felt the decision “did not make any sense”, and that he told Dravid to “leave him alone” so that he could come to terms with his disappointment of missing out on a double century.
