2. Kaadhal Theevey
People who have listened to Sean Roldans music know that there is always an inspiration from The Maestro Ilaiyaraaja somewhere hidden in many of his songs bit that was missing this time around and that can only be a very good thing. The harmonies sung by Sean himself, Ravi G and Manoj start off quite well and the moment Sir Sriram starts singing it mildly did remind me of the number "Kannal Modhadhey" sung by Sid and composed by Seans dear friend Santhosh Narayanan. Vijay Ganeshan hits it out of the park with both his acoustic and electric guitars solos. The interlude is basically Sid singing tongue-twisting swaras and the chorus just making a short hum goes splendidly with it. The second part of the stanza is the most melodious part of the track. Anirudh Krishna beautifully writes the lyrics for the love ballad.
