Here is a list of TOP 10 biggest Chennai city box office openers over the years. It is not correct to compare films releasing in two different periods. We are just stating films which had a good opening irrespective of the time they released. Some films might have had a 6-day opening, whereas some of them might have had a 3-day opening. Over the years, the ticket prices have also been hiked to an extent. So please remember, this is not a comparison to show which film is bigger.
