A veriyan is a one who is genuinely happy to be a fan. He takes to a religious following of his favorite hero. Cut outs, FDFS shows, paal abhishekams, and a wholesome knowledge about either’s films are all part of his fanaticism.
The sepoys have no idea why they are a fan of Thala or Thalapathy. But they want to be a part of either faction and would like to be called a fan all the same.
The bishops are actually fans of both heroes. Chances are they aren't actually a fan of either hero in the first place. According to the situation and success of either hero’s film, they will change their following.
The influenced fan chooses to be called a Thala or Thalapathy fan based on the liking of his friends or family. He is actually a fan because somebody else is.
The triggered fan announces himself as a Thala or Thalapathy fan just to be on the opposite side of somebody who is already a fan of Ajith or Vijay. They want the gratification of not being on the side of somebody they don’t like, so chances are, they keep changing their fandom.
The peaceful fans are ones who say “I’m not a fan, but I like Ajith/Vijay more.” They are defensive right from the start and avoid any sort of fan battle.
And then there are those who are fans of the actors, impressed by their character and charisma in real life.
The fan of a fan is actually a person who chooses to be a fan of Ajith or Vijay because he is a fan of an actor who is known to be a fan of either heroes.
The knights have no deep knowledge of Ajith’s or Vijay’s films. Chances are they became a fan after a particular film which worked beautifully for them. The knights are constantly under attack because whenever arguments break out, they don’t have the right facts to support them.
The critical fan is a fan because he is impressed after a critical analysis of either actor’s films and performances. The critical fan is unshakeable.
