VEERAM 2?

Ajith is right now involved in completing his 57th film being directed by Siva. On earlier occasions, Ajith has worked with the director in Veeram and Vedalam. Their rapport is well known in the industry.

Ajith-Siva’s first combo Veeram had showcased the hero in a rustic, dhoti-clad avatar which was liked by the audience a lot. The film will soon celebrate its third year anniversary on the 10th January.  At a time of sequels, it would be interesting if Siva and Ajith come again to do Veeram 2. 

We recently had Chennai-28 II innings which traced the lives of its characters after few years. Similarly, Siva could come up with a script that will showcase the lives of Ajith and his brothers after a few years, his married life with Tamannaah and the likes.

As regards sequels, Ajith had earlier done Billa and Billa 2 which belonged to a different genre. Veeram 2 will fall under the rural genre with a lot of family sentiments. In case, if this happens, it may be a record of sorts for an actor-director combo consecutively for the 4th time. Let's see if we get to hear anything on these lines.
