The teaser of Dhruva Natchathiram which was released yesterday night (14th January), has enough elements to produce that goosebump-ish moment for any ardent fan of Gautham Menon or Vikram. It is undoubtedly one of the most stylishly made teasers in Tamil cinema. Thanks to Jomon T John’s cinematography which was right on the money. For the first time, Vikram is sporting a salt and pepper look, and it's an understatement to say that he looks freaking handsome.
A Ghost who no one has seen for eight years, US immigration, CIA, Pakistan, drone strike, US Secretary are some of the first dialogues that you could listen. From what we could grab from the teaser, the lead who goes by the name John is a part of 8 to 10 member team headed by K and they are on a mission. The bad guys who want to stop them take K as a hostage. Now John (Vikram) has to fly down from the USA to Delhi to save K. This synopsis could be the crux of the story or just an episode in the movie.
Gautham Menon has rendered his voice for K’s character. But since K was not shown in the teaser, we are not sure if GVM actually plays K or not. The teaser has served its purpose; It has created a huge expectation for the film now.
