Actor Suriya has always been known as a humanitarian and a person with a high level of social consciousness and responsibility. He, along with his family, has been lending his full support to Jallikattu ever since the issue started.
When Suriya decided to set foot on ground and support the movement by joining the protests and also through social media, PETA had accused him of doing the same as a publicity stunt because his film, C3 is releasing in the following week.
Suriya, who has majorly offended by this remark of PETA has now issued a legal notice demanding an apology for the accusation. He has mentioned that, if an unconditional written apology addressed to him and copied to the media, is not issued within 7 days, legal action will be taken.
