POPULAR SINGER TO BE BLESSED WITH VISION

Visually challenged playback singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi has shown progress after undergoing treatment to improve vision. Vijayalakshmi, who has damaged nerves in her brain has now started seeing light and also shades of objects.

The singer, who rose to fame with the song 'Katte Katte' in Prithviraj's Malayalam film "Celluloid" has now sung over forty songs in many south Indian languages including 'En Jeevan' in Vijay's Theri. She is to wed Santhosh, a musician in March 2017 and eyesight is the best marriage gift she can get. Congratulations to her and her fiance.
