Suriya’s upcoming action entertainer S3 directed by Hari gets a ‘U’ certification from the censor board's revising committee. The film was initially given a ‘U/A’ certificate, and now the team has managed to grab a ‘U’.

The makers must be eyeing the much-needed tax exemption from the state government of Tamil Nadu. The runtime of the film is said to be around 2 hours 35 minutes while the movie will be cut by 5 minutes in the UK which the team had apparently trimmed to get 12A rating. S3 is gearing up for a January 26th release.
