DOES LAWRENCE'S SHIVALINGA TERRORIZE AS MUCH AS KANCHANA?

Shivalinga is the horror film that has Raghava Lawrence and Ritika Singh as the leads. It is a film by director P.Vasu and the teaser is typical of a horror film with Lawrence’s mass look adding to it’s pomp. 

The teaser focusses on a pigeon and from the looks of it, the pigeon might be of utmost importance to the crux of the story. It’s travel seems to be present throughout the entire teaser.

Veteran comedian Vadivelu made a return with Kaththi Sandai but it did not create the expected impact. Vadivelu’s rip-roaring comedy in Chandramukhi is still remembered by one and all. Chandramukhi, Superstar’s horror film, was also directed by P.Vasu. Can we expect this combination of P.Vasu and Vadivelu to strike gold again?

Music by Thaman seems apt for this genre and the cuts and camera work are decent in the teaser. The CG work surely could’ve been better and that is one department that lacks the punch.

Overall, Shivalinga seems to be yet another horror film with comic aspects from Raghava Lawrence who has won many times with this genre and looks like he has played it safe again. Let us wait for the film's release.
