WHAT IS THE PREMISE GOING TO BE FOR RAJINI-RANJITH PROJECT?

After their last outing Kabali, Superstar Rajinikanth and director Pa.Ranjith will be coming together once again for a venture that would be bankrolled by the former’s son-in-law Dhanush for his Wunderbar Films.

Right now, the pre-production work of this project is happening and it is expected to kickstart soon.

Meanwhile, we hear from our sources that the premise of this film may be slums in Mumbai. Since it is very difficult to shoot in live locations with Superstar Rajinikanth, the unit is alleged to be considering green mat technology to can scenes. 

Ranjith is someone who speaks for the oppressed community through his films. And, if this information turns out true, looks like the director will have one more film discussing the plight of the marginalized people in the society. If in Kabali, Rajinikanth spoke for Malaysian Tamils, it could be for Mumbai slum dwellers in this film. All the same, let us wait for official announcements on this.
