DILEEP ENDS A BIG STRIKE!

The current tide in Kerala, indicates that the ongoing cinema strike is bound to come to an end soon as a committee led by actor/producer/distributor/theater owner Dileep was formed intending to form a new organization of film exhibitors. Producer/theater owner Antony Perumbavur and theater owner Suresh Shenoy will also hold key positions in the newly found organization.

According to sources, pressurizing the theater owners by holding the release of Bairavaa in theaters that did not agree with distributors association, and threatening to upgrade the B class theaters into releasing centers were some of the strategic moves that led to the formation of a new organization.

A meeting will be held on January 14th to select the representatives of the newly found organization. The government came forward blaming the Exhibitors Federation for deliberately causing a standstill in the cinema industry. The head of the current exhibitors federation, Liberty Basheer accused Dileep conspiring against the federation.
