Trisha who was shooting Garjanai at the outskirts of Karaikudi was forced to leave the shooting and return home due to the protests against her as she is the brand ambassador of PETA who are against Jallikattu.

Celebrities including Kamal Haasan expressed their solidarity with her in Twitter this evening. Now before the heat got settled down, there came a tweet from Trisha's official handle which read "I'm a Tamilian and I support @peta @PetaIndia cruelty to animals no matter how old the traditions are is no justification. #BanJallikattu". With this tweet spreading on again the supporters of Jallikattu showed anger against her on the microblogging site. Exactly after 16 minutes (8.18PM) there came another tweet, "Someone has hacked my account and the last tweet is not posted by me"

At 8.32 PM @trishatrashers tweeted again with screen-shot which read, "This tweet is not posted by me and is absolute rubbish. Believe it or not i am making my stand clear.already complained 2 d authorities."
