The much awaited detail on who's scoring music for Dhanush starrer Maari 2 directed by Balaji Mohan is finally out. As we had reported earlier, Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring music for the sequel, which also has Sai Pallavi in the lead.
Confirming the news, Balaji Mohan took to Twitter and posted, "Privileged to be working with one of my all time favourite music directors! 🙂 Happy to officially announce that @thisisysr sir is on board for #Maari2 & music work has started! @dhanushkraja sir & #Yuvan sir combo back after 10 years!"

Dhanush made his striking directorial debut through Pa.Paandi, which was widely praised by critics, as well as the general audience.
Now, sources close to us reveal that Dhanush is all set to wear the directorial hat again. It is suggested that this project will be the already announced Dhanush - Thenandal Studios Limited association film. Apart from directing, Dhanush is also said to star in the lead role, for this period film.
However, an official confirmation is awaited from TSL's side or Dhanush's side.
