Producer S. Sashikanth of YNOT Studios said - “We have had the idea to do this for a long time now. I believe that the process of producing films is not complete until music finds its definitive piece in the puzzle. And the effort that goes into exploiting a film to its fullest potential needs to go hand-in-hand with its music which is an integral deliverable which is used in marketing our films.”
“We wanted to explore different models of distribution and consumption of music which is an asset that has the power to be timeless, and to have the liberty to use, re-use and most importantly celebrate the value of owning music itself” - he added.
The producer further stated, “We also have plans to do interesting experiments in the music space with a lot of talented and upcoming musicians, composers, singers & lyricists across different languages to find their platform to showcase and express themselves to the world. I am indeed excited about extending the YNOT model to the music industry with YNOT Music.”
