The movie is directed by Kaarthikk Sundar, a former associate of director AL Vijay, who will be making his directorial debut with this project. The film features Harish Kalyan and Priya Bhavani Shankar in main roles.
On the occasion of the actor's 31st birthday, he teased fans with a small video that said there's a surprise awaiting fans at 6 pm. Speculating a major announcement, fans thronged social media check out the buzz. Harish took to Twitter to announce that the next song 'Bodhai Kaname' from his upcoming movie 'Oh Manapenne' will be released soon.
With music composed by Vishal Chandrashekhar and lyrics penned by Lyricist Vivek, the song is sung by 'Rockstar' Anirudh.

In a recent Q&A interaction, Priya Bhavani Shankar revealed while talking about her projects, that the movie 'Oh Manapenne' has been "made with lots of love for each other" and also said, "Even we are waiting to share it with you".
