Actor Vishal is currently gearing up for the release of his much-awaited movie, Chakra. Directed by newcomer Anandan, the film features Shraddha Srinath, Regina Cassandra, Robo Shankar, Manobala, Srushti Dange, KR Vijaya amongst others in pivotal roles.
The film which was set to hit the screens this Friday, on February 19, had faced trouble just two days before its grand theatrical release. Accordingly, the High Court had ordered a stay on the release of the film as Vishal allegedly hasn't paid the loss incurred by his last film, Action, as he had promised the producer.
Following this, Judge Karthikeyan imposed an interim injunction on the release of Chakra. Actor Vishal and director Anand were ordered to send notices to explain the case with the same being adjourned till February 18.
Now, seems like the troubles are clear and sorted out. Vishal took to his social media to inform that the film is hitting the screens tomorrow as promised. He wrote, “Yes, as always have faced hurdles, issues & have always been true to my self, to my profession & to anything related to the Film Industry. The Stay has been vacated & Chakra will be released worldwide tomorrow, Feb 19 will be a Grand Day for Chakra movie in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam & Kannada. Thanks to the Hon High Court for serving the order at the right time keeping the interest of not just the producer but everyone involved in the film & vacating the stay. We are in to release the Movie as per schedule, Truth always Triumphs, GB.”
