Kamal Hassan has always voiced out his opinions about the social and political issues happening around him. He is often known for his bold speeches and fiery questions. He has now posted on his twitter page, a video where he gets emotional about the recent sexual assault case in Pollachi.

In Pollachi, a girl was molested and threatened with a videotape of it in the name of love and some members of the accused gang have been arrested under the Goondas act. This has been the most viral topic of discussion everywhere as the issue is alarming and disheartening.

Kamal Hassan in this video starts talking by saying,”From the moment I heard that little girl’s cry, my heart aches. Whenever I close my eyes, I keep hearing those sounds in my ears.” He then raised a lot of questions,”Who released the video? How did they do that?”

He also questioned the Chief Minister and the government about the judgement and punishment that will be given to the rapists. He added that the punishment given should not be a mere end to this case but serve as a lesson to anyone who dares to do any harm to women.
