"WHERE IS KURUP?": DULQUER SALMAAN SHINES AS A FUGITIVE IN THE TRAILER OF MUCH-AWAITED CRIME DRAMA!!

‘Kurup’ is directed by Srinath Rajendran, who has previously worked with Dulquer Salmaan on ‘Second Show’. The film is produced by the actor’s production house Wayfarer Films along with M Star Entertainment.

The trailer of the film which released today (November 3), showcased Dulquer Salmaan as the most-wanted fugitive donning various roles to hide himself from being seen by the police. 'Kurup' trailer opens with an interesting scene of him calling a police station to ask for Krishnadas Sir and the policeman says he is in Bhopal, gone there to catch Kurup. The caller’s tone changes and Dulquer Salmaan’s familiar voice tells him it is Kurup calling from Bhopal. The intensity of the story gathers pace through the trailer taking us through his life. 

We see Sobhita Dhulipala playing the female lead and Kurup’s love interest, Indrajith Sukumaran on the trail of Kurup and Shine Tom Chacko a drunken antagonist. 'Kurup' will be released in four languages, namely Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Apart from Dulquer Salmaan, his father Mammootty and Karan Johar shared the trailer of the film and wished the team for the movie's success.

‘Kurup’ is the biggest film in Dulquer Salmaan’s career till date with a budget of Rs 35 crores. The film has been extensively shot in Kerala, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Mangalore, Mysore and the UAE. The film has Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino, Sunny Wayne, Shine Tom Chacko, Sobhita Dhulipala, Manoj Bajpayee and Maya Menon in crucial roles. The story and dialogues have been penned by Jithin K Jose and the film is written by Daniel Sayooj Nair and KS Aravind. Sushin Shyam has signed the film as the music director.
