"WHEN WE GET MARRIED...": NAYANTHARA SPILLS THE BEANS ON VIGNESH SHIVAN, MARRIAGE, LOVE AND MORE!

Speaking on the show that aired today (August 15), she explained that she got engaged with Vignesh Shivan and that it was an intimate ceremony with only friends and family. When asked about marriage with the director, she said, "Kalyanam aana soluvom. (When we get married, we will tell). We will call everyone then. We didn't announce in public because we are private people. We didn't want everyone to come for that."

In the nearly one-and-a-half-hour long conversation, she spoke on various topics including her relationship with Vignesh Shivan, her family, her movie career and more. "I have not talked about him ( Vignesh Shivan) at many places. The men I have encountered usually think about how to stop a woman's success. I started working a lot after he came into my life. He makes me feel that I am really good at what I do."

Nayanthara also mentioned that Vignesh Shivan makes her feel loved. "Another thing is that he takes care of his mom and sister so well. Usually men don't care for their mothers and sisters as much as women do, but he's not like that. It's been six years and he calls them everyday to make sure they have eaten," she said.

DD also questioned her opinion on marriage and live-in relationships. To this, the ace-actress said that it depends on the couple and one shouldn't be judged for their choices that they make. "We live in a modern and forward-thinking world. Nobody should say that this is right or wrong. Do what is comfortable for you," she added.

Nayanthara is super busy with several upcoming projects lined up. One of which is a mega project directed by Atlee that stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' actress is also working on 'Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal' which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha in prominent roles. She has also started filming for her next directed by debutant Filmmaker GS Viknesh. Titled 'Production No 38' for now, the movie is also touted to be a thriller.
