He is donning the avatar of a director as well and is gearing up for Rocktery: The Nambi Effect which is based on former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan who was accused of espionage but later cleared of the charges.
Simran pairs up with him in the film while Suriya and Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in cameos. The trailer of the film had released in multiple languages sometime back and won fans over.
Maddy, as he is affectionately called, recently shared a video on Instagram where his wife Sarita can be heard interacting with a kid over a video call and teaching him some lessons in Marathi.
“When wife makes you feel small,” Maddy captioned the video. Before entering the room where Sarita is taking the class, Madhavan could be heard saying, “When your wife teaches poor kids across the country, and you feel completely incompetent and useless.” Sarita’s efforts were appreciated by many.
