Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is a happy man as his wax statue is all set to be unveiled at the Madame Tussauds wax museum Hong Kong. Reports suggest that, he is only the second Indian actor after Amitabh Bachchan to have a wax statue in this museum situated at Hong Kong.
His wax statue is going to be placed among the big stars of Hollywood like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Talking to a certain section of the media months ago, when the news became official, Varun has reportedly said, “It was a great experience to work with Madame Tussauds. I am so excited to get my wax figure in Hong Kong!”. A video of the excited Varun Dhawan is given below.
On Thursday, November 23, there was a very interesting and important exchange between Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and the Mumbai Police on Twitter, regarding photos of the star taking selfies with his fans that were circulated on social media.
Mumbai Police started the dialogue with their tweet that read: "Varun Dhawan these adventures surely work on the silver screen, but certainly not on the roads of Mumbai. You have risked your life, your admirer's and few others. We expect better from a responsible Mumbaikar and youth icon like you! An e-challan is on the way to your home. Next time, we will be harsher"
Varun Dhawan was quick to reply and was humble about it: "My apologies Our cars weren’t moving since we were at a traffic signal and I didn’t want to hurt the sentiment of a fan but next time I’ll keep safety in mind and won’t encourage this."
The police twitter page came around and the conversation ended all well, with: "Quite a galactic coincidence for the photographer to be on the same signal to capture your gesture, in a good intent nevertheless risky. Leaning out even in a stationary vehicle can be distracting for others considering your popularity. Glad you took our message in d right spirit"
