VJ CHITRA DEATH: RDO INVESTIGATION RULES OUT DOWRY; WHAT COULD HAVE PUSHED HER?

Chitra was found dead at a private hotel she was staying in Chennai on December 9. An RDO investigation is conducted in cases where a woman who has been married for seven years or less is found dead under mysterious/suspicious circumstances.

Her husband Hemnath was arrested on December 14 on charges of abetment of suicide. Chitra was popular for her role of Mullai in the hit serial Pandian Stores.

The actress was just 28 at the time of her unfortunate demise. She and her husband had registered their marriage two months back while an official ceremony was to be held in early 2021 before such terrible things happened.
