The actor who was rushed to the hospital on Friday following a cardiac arrest passed away on April 17 (Saturday) at 4:35 am in a private hospital.
While the actor is known for his punches on spot, a throwback video of the actor from Behindwoods Gold Medals that was conducted on the 16th of December 2018, at the Chennai Trade Centre is doing heavy rounds.
In the video, the actor is seen saying, "It is a big thing for a comedian to receive such a social award. I want to dedicate this award to the All India Superstar Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. I am even more happy to receive this award from the hands of Kalaipuli Thanu. He was the one who gave Rajinikanth the Superstar title."
He was also asked to describe actors like Ajith, Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, STR in one word, to know what he said, watch here -
