BOX OFFICE: HOW HAS AJITH'S VIVEGAM PERFORMED IN MADURAI?

Ajith's Vivegam has taken a gargantuan opening across the state and particularly in Chennai city on the back of strong advance bookings in all the leading theaters and multiplexes. The opening weekend Chennai city gross has been estimated at close to 5.2 crores and thereby sets a new benchmark.
According to our sources, Vivegam has collected around 5.1 to 5.3 crores from Madurai district. It opened well on day 1 and had a slight dip on the next day, Saturday, and Sunday. These numbers are not official and have been gathered by us from our sources.
