"I'VE ALREADY ENTERED POLITICS." - VISHAL MASSIVE STATEMENT

Irumbuthirai is a technology based thriller that was directed by P.S Mithran. The film had Vishal and Samantha in the lead roles, while Arjun played the antagonist. This Vishal Film Factory production released worldwide on May 11, while the Telugu version came out on June 1 titled Abhimanyudu. 

The film recently completed a 100-day run at the theatres. So, the male lead and Producer Vishal organised an event to present a shield to everyone associated with the film. Talking to press at the event, he said: "I'm planning to convert my fans club into a People welfare association. This is because they have been involved in serving the society and wanted a separate identity. For the same reason, we are also launching a flag for ourselves.

A lot of people are asking about my political entry. I've already entered politics. If politics is all about serving people, then we all are politicians. The by elections in Thiruparankundram is approaching and I'm not sure if I'll contest there. I'm not denying the fact either. I'll decide things when the date is announced. It all depends on how and what I feel at that time."

Irumbuthirai had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while George C Williams was the director of Photography. It is one of the most successful films to hit the screens this year.
