Actor Vishal has now extended his support to the Malayalam actress who was molested in Kerala. He was involved in a short press meet where he expressed his disappointment over the incidents that have been taking place in the past few days. 

He promised support from Kollywood and said, ‘’As we all know, an incident took place in Kerala, yesterday. Firstly, I’d like to appreciate Bhavana for having the courage to come out and let everyone know about it. This shouldn’t have happened. If this is the situation for actresses, then how would it be for ordinary people? We have written a letter to the Chief Minister of Kerala regarding this and along with Nassar sir, we are writing another letter again today. If they find the accused, the punishment must be extremely severe. We are ready to provide all sorts of support to the association, emotional and physical support. My heart goes out to Bhavana. We will all stand by you. You will get justice for this matter. We believe that the police will take action and we have written a letter to the CM. Yesterday, we received information that a three-year-old child was raped and killed at Ennore. Child abuse and rape is a really alarming issue all over India. We require a grave punishment to stop this. Awareness is crucial and we need to discuss as to how we are going to create awareness.''
