Vishal’s 'Chakra' is directed by newcomer Anandan. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for the film which stars Shraddha Srinath, Regina Cassandra, Robo Shankar, Manobala, Shrushti Dhange, KR Vijaya among others in pivotal roles. Cinematography is by Balasubramaniam.
The shooting of the film is over and the finishing touches are in full swing. The trailer for the film, which was released during the Coronavirus curfew, was well received. There were earlier media reports saying that the film might release on OTT.
But, now it has confirmed to be a theatrical release. The film is set to release on February 19. Vishal himself affirmed the same and wrote on Twitter – “Yes, it’s confirmed... We have planned to release our action thriller film #Chakra in theatres on February 19th in all 4 South Indian Languages. Going to be a grand release. Looking forward to it... GB.” (sic)
