WILL VIKRAM RECREATE HIS DHILL AND SAAMY MAGIC?

Vikram is most likely to team up with Bramman fame Socrates for his next film to be produced by Silverline Film Factory. Kajal Aggarwal will apparently play the female lead for this untitled flick.

This choice of Vikram has not pleased some of his fans. Even a section of media has questioned the Iru Mugan actor’s decision to go with a one film old director especially when the actor’s career is on an uptrend after his recent release.

Is Vikram making a gamble that is worth the price? We feel it is too premature to comment on it even before the team makes an official statement. But going by Vikram’s track record, he has proven that he could spot some interesting talents.

Directors like Hari and Dharani would be the perfect examples who we can associate with Socrates. Both these directors got their first major commercial breaks with Vikram's Saamy (Hari) and Dhill (Dharani) in their respective second film. Vikram’s decision to choose Saamy and Dhill helped us spot the talent of two prolific commercial filmmakers. Why can’t he be right even this time around?

It is now said that Vikram’s film with Socrates will apparently be a village subject. It’s been a while since Chiyaan played a massy rural role.
